Elected Officials
In Texas, Governor Greg Abbott serves as the chief executive. Other statewide elected officials include the Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Comptroller, Agriculture Commissioner, Land Commissioner, and Railroad Commissioners. Texas also elects members of the Texas Legislature which includes a 31-member Senate and 150-member House of Representatives.
