The Texas Department of Savings and Mortgage Lending regulates state savings banks and mortgage lenders to protect consumers and support safe, sound financial practices in Texas.

The Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) safeguards consumers in matters of real property transactions and valuation services.

The Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation (TSAHC) works to preserve, facilitate and expand affordable housing opportunities for Texans.
